Hi,
I've just tried to build kaffe with JIT on an alpha-netbsd1 system. I've run
into the same problem that has been reported by Kapil about alpha-linux jitter:
Compiling classes from @essential.files using
/tmp/topic/build/kaffe/kaffe/kaffe-bin -verbosegc at.dms.kjc.Main
assertion "fp != 0" failed: file
"../../../kaffe-1.1.x-cvs/kaffe/kaffevm/exception.h", line 150, function
"vmExcept_setJNIFrame"
./rebuildLib: line 51: 12358 Abort trap (core dumped) $JAVAC
$VERBOSE $JAVAC_FLAGS -d $LIBDIR $CPATH ${1+"$@"}
It seems to be foreseen by gcc, according to this warning:
/tmp/topic/build/kaffe/kaffevm/../../../kaffe-1.1.x-cvs/kaffe/kaffevm/jni.c:290:
warning: passing arg 2 of `vmExcept_setJNIFrame' makes integer from pointer
without a cast
So I'm wondering if you've got any idea on how to fix this.
cheers,
