There are many more people who contributed to all this, and a linear
timeline may not do it proper justice ...
In my experience, it has been more like a dynamic, bidirected graph of
people wearing different hats at different
times trying their best to advance things.
The kaffe & classpath parts of the graph, the parts I'm familiar with,
are tightly knit together, and have been rapidly
growing to connect with the rest of the world over the past years. I
largely blame Mark Wielaard's efforts
to bring the different efforts together under one umbrella, and reach
out to everyone else working on this. :)
He's just plain awesome, and I'm glad to know him as a friend.
