this is intrp-jthread...

apparently one of the last changes broke it. Possibly the last register 
substitution ? or some of the other fixes.. including CPE, remember I 
tested the "unprocessed" version. But that would be unlikely.

Strangely enough irix is doing well even on elrond with gcc2. Well, 
relatively well
