try applying the patch from Alexander from
http://www.kaffe.org/pipermail/kaffe/2005-August/103110.html and rerun
developers/autogen.sh.

That should turn off the boehm-gc configury. It's currently run by
default as not running it makes make distcheck fail. I'll look into
adding an option to explictely turn off boehm-gc.
