[kaffe] can't find a register in class 'INDEX_REGS' while reloading 'asm'

Hi All,

I've encountered some problem when doing the 'make' on the kaffe. I am using VMWare on XP and installed Redhat 9.0 on the top of it. 

The problem I've encountered is when I do the makefile on the root directory of Kaffe, it stops with the following error:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../config -I../../include -I../../kaffe/kaffevm/systems/unix-jthreads -Ijit -I../../libltdl -DTRANSLATOR -DKVER=\"1.0b4\" -I../../config -I../../include -I/usr/local/include -g -02 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -c -fPIC -DPIC support.c -o support.lo

support.c:375: can't find a register in class 'INDEX_REGS' while reloading 'asm'

Can anyone help with this problem I have? much appreciated!
