[kaffe] How can I run mozilla with kaffe ?

it doesn't work put of the box because there is no jvm
plugin implementation for kaffe. There is a patch for
a different version of kaffe at 
http://www.kaffe.org/ftp/pub/packages/kaffe-mozilla-oji/

Prakash wanted to take a look at the sources last
year, but I'm not sure how far he got. Other people
also tried to get kaffe to work in mozilla, to port
its threading system to NSPR etc. I don't know how far
they've got either. Search for kaffe, mozilla and OJI
in your favorite search engine to get more info.

If you want to work on getting the oji patch to work
with a current version of kaffe, take a look at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?archive=no&bug=171103
and keep in touch ;)

Of course, as kaffe doesn't have a full verifier yet,
I wouldn't recommend using kaffe to execute applets
that you don't know are harmless ;) But the verifier
issue is being worked on.
