I don't know, I don't really speak m68k assembler. From what I've seen 
fro the m68k programming guide, there is also a cas2 instruction to 
compare and swap two operands, but I don't see where we could use that.

FLUSH_DCACHE is necessary because some platforms need that for 
self-modifying code, right? Any ideas where one could find docs on that?
