Hi there!
I´m sorry, this question might be a bit off-topic.
I statred trying to port X-AWT so that it would run with GCJ/GIJ. There
are some points which I dont understand:
1.) What is the class PTR in kaffe/util/ptr, its an abstract class which
seems to be a replacement for the "jni-int-pointers". As I guess its not
portable arround other JVM´s, so how could I replace it? (I´m not a
jni-professional, althought I know how it works...)
2.) There are also some other classes from /kaffe/util needed. Are these
classes all kaffe-dependent?
3.) Where is the native library-loading done? I want able to fine a load
instrauction....
4.) There is some stuff located at /java/awt and I´m not sure if its
really needed: peer and win32
5.) I only need X-AWT so how does kaffe switch those awt
implementations? I the source located in java/awt/* only X-AWT?
Sorry for nerving, please help. I know I´m a nerving person, aksing a
lot and coding very little....
