[kaffe] kaffe-1.0.7 building for powerpc

Hi,

I'm trying to build the kaffe-1.0.7 of kaffe for powerpc.I'm using  
gcc-2.95.3 and  I tried this:
CC=powerpc-linux-gcc
AS=powerpc-linux-as
LD=powerpc-linux-ld
NM=powerpc-linux-nm ./configure --target=powerpc-linux --with-include=... 
--with-libraries=...

but I get this error:

configure: warning: when cross compiling, you may want to set 
ac_cv_c_char_unsigned to yes or no
checking for kaffeh... no
configure: error: please set KAFFEH to the full pathname of a locally 
executable kaffeh

Can somebody help me?
