[kaffe] building for powerpc

Hi,
	Im trying to build kaffe for powerpc processor. I have set up my cross 
compiling things in /usr/local for instance : gcc is 
/usr/local/bin/powerpc-snmc-linux-gnu-gcc.

	My question is: is there some kind of way to tell the configure scripts to 
use those things or am I going to have to go through all the Makefiles and 
edit them so they have the right values for gcc, and the includes and all??
