[kaffe] building 1.0.6

Hi folks

I'm having a configure problem.  I'm cross compiling kaffe to run under mips 
and I'm doing the build on a linux pc.  Since I'm also going to build this 
for i686 I've created 2 build directories separate from the source so it 
stays pristine.  Anyway,  I run

CC=mipsel-linux-gcc ../kaffe-1.0.6/configure --target=mipsel-linux 
--host=i686-pc-linux-gnu

and, in libltdl/config.h, LTDL_SHLIB_EXT is undefined which causes make to 
error out.

I changed config.cache to read

ac_cv_prog_cc_shlib=${ac_cv_prog_cc_shlib=.so}

and ran the same configure command thinking it would regenerate things 
correctly.  But config.h still has LTDL_SHLIB_EXT undefined.

Is there a way to use configure to specify this or do I have to hack 
libltdl/config.h?
