Unless this affects another platform, I don't think I would.
OpenBSD doesn't have libtool 1.4 in its ports tree yet, and I
think kaffe is not the only package which has this problem.
When the next version of kaffe is released it is easy enough
to apply the same fix I used into the kaffe port's Makefile.
And when OpenBSD updates libtool it should work ok.
The OpenBSD ports tree is currently frozen before the 3.1 release,
so I doubt kaffe or libtool will be updated before then.
