program in running java program

hi all, 
i have a problem in running a java program, the step
and result are as follow:
> javac jj.java
> java jj
the following error occur:
Internal error: caught an unexpected exception.
Please check your CLASSPATH and your installation.
java/lang/ClassNotFoundException: jj
        at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:native)
        at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:52)
Aborted (core dumped)

i found that the classpath is as follows:
/usr/lib:/usr/lib/jed:/usr/java/jdk/jdk116_v5/lib/classes.zip:/usr/share/kaffe/Klasses.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/comm.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/pjava.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/servlet.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/tools.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/microsoft.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/kjc.jar:/usr/share/kaffe/rmi.jar

it seems that the classpath is pointing to the default
class.
Do you know how to tackle the problem?
