kaffe 1.0b1 on sparc-linux rh5.1

Hi I was wondering if anyone was able to get kaffe running on a sparc-linux
machine running rh5.1...  It builds generally without problem but when
running on the tests it aborts.. no errors and such.. when running on a 
similar HelloWorld type program compiled elseware with JDK it core dumps?

can anyone help?
