Problem with reading precompiled inner class files

Hi,

on my linux pc ( Suse 5.2), I have the following problem:

- java VM installed
- swing 1.0.3 installed

go to the swing examples directory and try to start the SimpleExample. When the
classloader tries to load an inner class of SimpleExample, the load fails.

- the error is not related to the installed VM. I tried Kaffe, JDK1.1.6, and
JDK 1.1.6 with TYA 1.0.
- inner classes can be loaded from JAR files without any problem.
- if I recompile the application, it runs fine.

Is there anybody out here who knows this type of error?
