In JDK 1.1.6 socketSetOption is private in j.n.PlainDatagramSocketImpl and
not implemented at all in j.n.DatagramSocketImpl.  The public API uses
setOption/getOption - socketSetOption/socketGetOption is internal to the
implementation.
