Nope.  It's kind of silly to want a monopoly.  It invites all kinds
of unwelcome attention (legally, upstart comptetitors, potshots from
journalists).  It also tends to make you too complacent, which is
dangerous in the long run.

What you want to be is the largest supplier, the one with the
brand-name recogniztion, and that nobody gets fired for buying.
E.g. Intel and Microsoft.
