I'm not sure this is the place for it, but the NT in the office hasn't
shut down in over 6 months; both server and workstation; even when rogue
programs (ahem) have written all over memory. This is a development
machine. 'nuff said about that religion.
What hardware are you using? You use cheap boards and poor drivers, you
get what you pay for. NT 4.0 moved some of the GDI (video acceleration)
into the Kernal to speed it up, which it did, but has the unfortunate side
effect of making bad video drivers more of a problem.
