Fail to locate native library

Hello everyone,

I've installed kaffe-0.8.3 on OPENSTEP4.1J for Mach.
When I tried to run HelloWorld under "test" directory, I got an error  
message

(sasuke:masa)> kaffe HelloWorldApp
Failed to locate native library in path:
        /usr/local/lib
Aborting.

I looked at the directory "/usr/local/lib", and there are several  
"libkaffe_xxxx.o" instead of "libkaffe_xxxx.a".  Did I miss something to  
meke "libkaffe_xxxx.o" into "libkaffe_xxxx.a" when I compile kaffe?
