There was some extra free space still left in the volume group (I'm 
using lvm), so I created a logical volume to hold the CVS repository, 
and moved that out of the home partition -- so that should hold us for a 
while.

Longer term, I've got an extra 1U case - hopefully, next month, I'll 
have enough time to buy a new motherboard/cpu/memory and a low profile 
fan, and I'll upgrade the whole system.  That should give us enough 
headroom to allow me to do some interesting things, like set up some 
user mode linux virtual servers.  Currently, the system is swapping to 
death several times a day because it's only got 128MB of RAM -- the 
current motherboard and memory was something of an emergency purchase 
late at night, so it's due for an upgrade.  Plus, I'd like to use the 
fanless Via EPIA board that is the current server to make a silent file 
server for my apartment.  :-)
