Hi,

I am sorry I have not been able to post to this mailing list.
I have been upgrading my firewall and it took me almost five
days to make FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE work properly on my old i486
machine with as much as 16MB memory.

Yes, the problem arose from the nihonlinux project.

Nihonsoft sponsors nihonLinux and the licence of nihonLinux
is CPGL. This is clearly stated on the page http://nihonlinux.jp/.

The problem is that CGPL is not GPL and you cannot publish
a Linux distribution with a non-GPL licence. Some people
pointed out the problem on slashdot.jp or 2ch.net, but as
I see it, this question has not been clearly answered so far.
