I think Jim has a good point. Kaffe.org is not a commercial web site,
and it would be pointless to attempt to become one, as we don't sell
anything, really ;)

The sponsorhip program is meant as a way to give a little back to the
California comuinty Colo Project, who generously provide our bandwith
and hosting (Jim generously provides the server ;). Of course, by
linking to our sponsor prominently on the main page, we provide a kind
of advertising for the sponsor for a month. But it's not meant to be a
real revenue stream. ;) So I wouldn't like to have real advertisments on
the site, or permanent links to sponsors unless the circumstances demand it.

The rotation is meant to avoid being too affiliated with a single
sponsor. Diversity is healthy, and we want to have many friends ;)

Regarding JumpOnDeals.com, I'd say that they look good to me. Their
privacy policy is good: "We do not sell or share any personal
information you provide us to anybody, period.". All in all, it looks
like a website I wouldn't mind having kaffe.org sponsored by to me.
